Hi,

I have a parameter for a report, that is actually the paramter that I sent to the stored procedure that will bring the data in CR. In the SP I declared the parameter as integer but When I run the report in the windows box the parameter has 4 decimals (4 zero's). How can I remove the default value or the 4 decimals.

THank you

Please post your software version.

I seem to recall that the default follows what you have in the File->Options->Fields->Number format.

So if the default is 4 digits there, then you'll see 4 digits in parameters.

In some versions of Crystal there's a mask which might help in the set default values area.

It didn't fix the problem. It was custom, I choosed the no decimal format, still the same. Any other suggestion. I'm using CR 8.0

Thanks

Two questions:

a) Are you talking about the parameter as requested or the parameter as shown on the report? (If it's the latter, ToText(@param, 0) should fix it.)

b) Was your default previously set to four decimals? If so, deleting the parameter and adding it again under the new settings might work. I never used 8.0 but I found simimlar things under 8.5.
