Hello,

I am processing a long application form using FormMail. The email output has the fields double spaced and each response from an applicant is 5 pages long.

How can I make the email output single spaced and, ideally, the field name in bold type?

I checked the parameters at Matt's CGI scripts, but saw no way to format it this way. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Marta

Hey there

This question would probably be best in the CGI forum but hopefully the info below will help . . .

Do you have access to edit the formmail script ?

If so see if you can find something like print "" - if there is something in there with '\n\n' then try removing one of the \n's - this is a new line command for CGI / Perl so will be putting 2 lines between each output.

If this doesn't help drop me another note.

Cheers

Nigel

Actually I don't have access to the FormMail script on the web host. When I set up a new client on a different host, I'll try it.

Thanks so much!
