Im playing around with datagrids in my Web Application.

Ive set the grid to show a maximum of 10 rows and it quite a big grid. At the minute there are only 2 records available in the Dataset, and it defaulting to show the 2 records over the whole space of the grid, so the height of each row is far to big. Is there an attribute to set to say you want to show the records with a normal row height and let the rest of the grid be blank.

i.e. the total height of the grid is = 150, when i have 2 records the Headings Row height is = 50 and the records row height = 50, when really they should only be = 20

the numbers above are not real

Hi,
you can select the datagrid, move the cursor to the bottom edge of the datagrid. The cursor changes to different pointer then you can drag to change the size. When you drag its bottom upward, its physical look doesn't change, but its heigh property is changing to smaller number. Do that until you see number 8 in the heigh property.
you can try select the datagrid and type 8 in the heigh property.
When you run the app. The datagrid rows is smaller.

It worked for me.
