FormatCurrency on a Currency datatype field but I get an error? 1

Hi all,

I have a really weird problem here:

Well in my database I have a field and it's datatype is "currency".

Now when I tried to display it and "FormatCurrency" it, it gives me this error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'FormatCurrency'

Seems like it is treating it as "text"... weird

Please advice. Much Thx!

Response.write it and see what it looks like. Also make sure that whatever you are applying the formatcurrency function to has a value. If you try to apply formatcurrency to "" or Null you'll get the same error.
