My company prints over the network from a DOS application to several different models of printers. The problem is, when I print the files (from redirection of printer output), Windows reduces the Fontsize and misaligns everything that would be normally very neat in a DOS environment. Can anybody point me in the right direction to fixing this problem ? Thanks in advance. Lp

don't suppose a copy/paste format would be of much help, since it adds one step? Can you save DOS files in a Windows-friendly format (ASCII Text) or something?

Easiest way is to create another printer on the windows machines relating it to the HPIIP which is pretty generic for printing.
Should pretty much come across as courier 10. Ed Fair

Thanks for the help Eric / Ed, I am leaning toward the
addition of generic printer in windows to help solve this
problem. Thanks again. Lp
