Hi All,

is there any way to disable a field without the background color changing to brown? Should I just lock it instead of disabling it? The reason I disable it is because it's calculated based on two other fields

If you lock and disable it, it will revert back to the standard field format, and will not be a tab stop. That's what I usually on calculated fields.

my God, why are these solutions always so simple !! You'd think with all my experimenting I'd have tried that out !!

thanks for your help

Martin
