Is there a list online anywhere or that anyone has that defines and describes each property setting in Access forms? It would be nice. There are so many that I don't know what they do that may be useful. Just thought I would see if anyone knew of anything out there that would be an easy reference. Thanks so much.

When in VBE (Alt-F11) feel free to play with the F2 and F1 keys.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Well . . . you don't really need a reference. The much greater majority are available in access help! To access these references just open any form in [blue]design view[/blue], select the control of interest and put the cursor on the [blue]property line[/blue] in question . . . then hit [blue]F1[/blue]! Its called [blue]context sensitive help[/blue] and its very handy!

As another example, in any code module type the name of an access function or sub, put the cursor on the name & hit [blue]F1[/blue] . . . same results. After you use [blue]F1[/blue] a few times you'll get the Idea.

Remember that properties are specific to controls they're attached to. [purple]You can't view properties of a closed form[/purple] (at least not directly) and [purple]can't view properties of a control not included in a form/report![/purple]

As far as getting the property info, if the control doesn't exist, just make a temporary blank form, include the controls of interest and do the [blue]F1[/blue] thingy above . . . Just don't forget to delete the temp form!

[blue]Your Thoughts?[/blue]
