I have a form on a tab in a six tab form which works fine except that one form is much longer than the others so it has a vertical scroll bar but when it is opened it is always at the bottom. Is there a way to fix that? Thanks.

How are ya xmeb . . .

Is the form in [blue]single[/blue] or [blue]continuous[/blue] view?
From top to bottom do you mean the current record is the last?

Without intervention, when a form opens it typically sets focus to the first control in the first record (at the top) of the form. Since this is not the case you could have code taking you to the bottom. Have a look at the forms code module. Your looking for [blue]MoveLast[/blue] or [blue]acCmdRecordsGoToLast[/blue] or equivalent.

Thanks for answering.

It is single and has no code.

Thanks again.

Have a look at the tab order [blue]MenuBar[/blue] - [blue]View[/blue] - [blue]Tab Order...[/blue] Re-arrange if necessary.

You solved it. I had a tiny set focus text box at the bottom of the form that I had forgotten about. Thanks!

If you were using the textbox to park the cursor [blue]you don't have to get rid of it[/blue]. Just move it to the top left or right side of the [blue]detail section[/blue] and set the [blue]Width[/blue] & [blue]Height[/blue] properties to zero (0).
