Form not Opening 1

Hi

It's one of those major work-stopping Access crisises! I changed the name of a text field in a subform, saved and now the form will not open in design or form view!

There are also problems with the back up so I will need to do all I can to try fix it.

The text box I renamed is not called in any code so I can't understand what the problem is.

If anyone can help asap I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi

Have you tried compact/repair

After that try, create an empty database, import all objects from your 'original' database

Still no joy, a variation on second option, import all objects except the offending subform, the recreate the subform

Thank you very much Ken, I will be trying that out.

Another form has decided not to display now even though I haven't touched it and it was working this morning. I have a very bad feeling the database is corrupt.
