Hi All

Hope you can shed some light on this for me.

I have a sub form which is in my main form it has a drop down selection which users can choose different options.

This has been working all along with no problems, but all of a sudden today it started locking users out. Now I can't change anything not even in the back table it gives me the following error:

Could not update; currently locked.

I have checked that none of the tables or queries it uses are locked not even the form is locked.

Any help or light on this issue would be great..
Is there anything else I can check.

I am using User Level security would this cause a problem.
The other thing is I have exactly the same sub form on the same main form which just has different options and is stored in a different table. That one is working fine.

Thanks for any help!!!!
Regards
Mark

Try deleting the .ldb file when the database is closed. check the .ldb file to see which machine is locking the file by using the ldbview.exe file available from microsofts site. sorry I dont know the web address.
