form is slow when saving and opening 2

Hi everyone,

I have a switchboard with 8 different forms. Im having trouble with one of the forms. When i try to open the form it takes a long time to open, this also goes for saving what the user inputs on the form. This doesnt happen with all the other forms.

Ive tryed decompile and compact and repair but with no joy.

Can someone push me in the right direction.

ps. there is very little information stored in the table and all the photos are stored outside of the database.

Have you tried disabling the infamous [blue]Track name AutoCorrect Info[/blue] in Tools - Options - General Tab - Name AutoCorrect Section?

Also, depending on your access version, textboxes have an [blue]Allow AutoCorrect[/blue] property. This property is set to [blue]yes by default[/blue]. Check here as well.

Thank you. This is amazing. I had a form with 50 controls on it with a subform and multiple combo boxes. The form used to open in 30 sec, now it opens in 2 sec. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

It is a known bug primarily associated with A2K.
