I have a user who uses Access 97 and has a form that is based on a table. The field in the table has a data type of memo. In the table, all the text is visible in that field. However, in the form, only the first 255 characters of that field are displayed. The rest is truncated. I've checked formatting and settings and I don't understand what's restricting this.

This may seem like a repetitive question, but I'm finding that the other questions in this forum seem to be referring to queries, list boxes and combo boxes. None of those are involved in this issue.

I appreciate anyone's help.

Have you checked the properties on the field displayed in the form itself? You might just need to enable to the scroll bars on the field (Properties>Format>Scroll Bars).

I have tried that, but it didn't help.
