Hello ... I have a lookup field with 3 columns. The correct column is getting stored on the base table, However the field on the form is displaying the ID number ... not the actual field data ... I know this is really easy to fix, I'm just having a mental block this afternoon ...

Have a look at the ColumnWidths property of the ComboBox object.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Hmmm ... still not fixed ... the combo box object seems to be displaying column 1 ... It would appear that I'm having difficult displaying column 2 (Which contains my meaningful data) ...

In fact, the combo box object display the first column having a width different from zero.

Hope This Helps, PH.

And there it is ... thanks much ... just as a matter of curiosity ... what if I wanted to display the 3rd column ??

Use the columncount property, ie insert the number of columns you want to be visible. In the columnwidths, enter the widths you want seperated by semicolons. If you wanted not to see one of the columns, then enter a zero.

bellkev,
if your info is in the second column,in the record source of the txtbox place
=[yourcomboboxnumber].column(1)
the columns are numbered 0,1,2,3,4...
