Forgot yahoo password

I've forgot yahoo password, but Yahoo messenger is setted to log-on automatically and then with a Yahoo!Mail button I can go to mai e-mail account. That means the password is stored somewhere on my computer. Can someone tell me where ?

I suspect it's in a cookie, in an encrypted format.

use the "forgot password" option. they will send you an email to the account you originally used to set up your Yahoo account.

The problem is if I try to modify something, a new window is opened with my ID but withou the password...

So where is stored the password ?

Have you contacted Yahoo yet? That would be my first place to try. (as eyec said)

The answer is "42"

As I said any changes requires the password. If someone can show me the steps that must I follow ... please help me.
