I activated the content advisor on my kids computer. I have since forgotten the supervisors password. Can anyone tell me how to go about finding it or replacing it?
Thanks, Golfnut95425 [sig][/sig]

You may have to do a complete reinstall of your OS. If that doesn't work, then a reformat is in order.
MS makes content advisor passwords tough on users. File them or you're stuck. [sig][/sig]

This error occurs when the ratings system has been enabled and the Ratings.pol file is missing or damaged.
To create a new Ratings.pol file, follow these steps:
1. Close Internet Explorer.
2. If a Ratings.pol file exists in the C:\Windows\System folder, rename it to Ratings.old.
NOTE: You must be able to view hidden files to view the Ratings.pol file. To view hidden files with My Computer or Windows Explorer, click View on the Options menu, click the View tab, click Show All Files, and then click OK.
3. Start Internet Explorer, and then click Options on the View menu.
4. Click the Security tab, and then click Settings in the Content Advisor area.
5. When asked for the Supervisor password, click OK. (Do not type in a password)
6. Select the Ratings options that meet your needs, and then click OK, or choose disable Ratings option by clicking Ok again.
When you restart Internet Explorer, the changes take effect.
NOTE: Removing and reinstalling Internet Explorer does not resolve this issue.

Or you can kill it in the registry.
