Is there a way to force the caller to hear the first announcement before the call presents to an agent? IPO 8.0

create an Auto attendant that plays the message you want with no options set, and set the fall back to the huntgroup, on the incoming call route

or in VM Pro, create a module with a generic action for the recording, then a transfer to the HG. Target the incoming call route at the module. This let's you have three announcements... an initial, a queued, and a still-queued.

If the customer is choosing the HG off an AA, put the generic/recording between the menu and the HG transfer, for the same effect.

Will this throw off my call reports? EX: If I route the call to a generic action with a transfer to the HG my reports will not show the initial time the call was in the greeting. Not that its a big deal but I know I will have customers that ask. I can just adjust the time that the greeting plays.
