I've been asked to create a new DN to dial a cellphone number.
Currently all cellphone calls (in this case calls starting with 044) go to route 24.

SPN 044
FLEN 0
RLI 9 <<<<<- RLI 9 points to ROUTE 24
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

From LD 21, ROUTE 24 is defined as

TYPE TLST
TKTP COT
ROUT 24
DES
TN 016 0 00 00 MBER 1 TELULAR
TN 016 0 00 04 MBER 2 TELULAR
TN 016 0 00 07 MBER 3 TELULAR
TN 019 0 00 01 MBER 4 TELULAR
TN 023 0 00 00 MBER 5 TELULAR

Question: Is there an easy way to force the new DN to NOT go to route 24?

Any hint will be appreciated.

TIA.

Build a new SPN in LD 90 for the new DN and setup a new RLI to use a different route in LD 86. If you do not have a different route for this, you could take one or two trunks from your route 24 and create a new route with these trunks.

Not sure what your business case is to use a different route.

We need to use a different route because sometimes cellphone calls using route 24 are very noisy and the cellphone we need to call to belongs to the general manager of our company. which by the way also starts with 044.

You could add another entry with a different route in the same RLI.

You'll have to make some changes to NCOS and FRL on the RLI to force certain calls to step down to another entry.

I think your bigger problem is why are you getting noisy trunks. What type of trunks are they?

You can do this.

On ld 90 go to change the SPN

SPN 044
FLEN 0
RLI 9
SDRR ARRN
ARRN put here the complete cel number starting with the area code
ARLI put the RLI of your prime lines and enter until finish

This will do the job you need.

because these are anaolg trunks in an opt 11, i would test each one with a testset or at least ld 30.. marc nailed the routing problem but you may be trying to route around a single bad trunk
