We currently have a need to force a small group of our client base to a specific SMS site. I was able to run a script to force the pc's to the site and they are communicating with the server reporting inventory, etc. The problem is when I attempt to distribute packages they do not download and install. The packages just show up in the cache folder as empty folders with the reporting tool displaying a "waiting" for content status. Could it be possible that these clients are still trying to get packages from their original/local Distribution Point since their boundary is defined there rather from their new site DP? If that is what is happening like I suspect is there a way to force the client to check the new sites DP for the package? Thanks!

is the SMS site that you have the set of clients connected to as a site server, also running as the distribution point you want to be communicating with, or is it a secondardy site server and a seperate DP?
