Hi

I have a stand alone Windows 2000 server running Citrix Metaframe XP.
Published applications only.
It has all been working fine until we added Novell Client.
We have since removed it, but now users authenticate in the Citrix program neighbourhood window just fine but after a short delay they have to authenticate again, this time thru a Windows 2000 server box.
It then works fine but it a real pain explaining this to 50+ users

Any help very much appreciated

Stu

Aha the old Novel client question.

If you read the stuff on it in the advanced administraion manual, it might just work. It will be slow, but it should work, you nedd to have ZENWorks tho.

If They/you dont have that, then go for the Microsoft netowrking for novell service. You can the set default trees and contexts etc. You can then manage single sign on. It actually works a lot faster than the smelly novelly client, its just a pain in the butt to administer, especially if they start changing passwords etc.

Forgot to mention

Users can log straight into the server via Terminal Services

Thanks Ascotta

We have given up on Novell but we are left with the double logins via Citrix

AH I just remembered the thing its the Microsoft Client for Netware. Thats the chap. Problem is that the passwords need to match.

There is a Novell? tool that allows synchronisation of passwords between NDS and Domains. I have heard it is a bit ropey tho.
