Hi, Can somebody help in getting page footer on each page of sub report. I have this sub report on the details section of main report and only when you drilldown on a group of main report this sub report will display.
This is something urgent.
Appreciate your help!
Thanks in advance!

Because a Subreport is an object it does not know about pages.

You can trick a subreport to give a page header, using a fakepage header formula, but I have never seen this done for a footer.

What exactly are you trying to do as there may be a work around.

Thanks for your respose. I have a report with 4 groups and each group is a drilldown which is when you click on group1 name it will go to group 2 and click on this it will go to group 3 and so on..like this when you click on group 4 it goes to details section which has subreport in it. For each drilldown I could manage to get the page header and footer by having them in corresponding group header and footer and conditionally suppressing. But I would like to get the same header and footer on each page of subreport. I could able to get the page header on each page of subreport by creating fake group and having group header on each page. Now the problem is only with the page footer in sub report. Please let me know if there is any work around. Here main report page footer does not work because all these comes under drilldown.
Appreciate your help.

If you copy footer info into Report footer of Subreport will that work. In section expert (Subreport) for the RF check print at bottom of page.

You could place the page footer fields in the page footer of the main report. Then go to file->report options and check "show all group headers upon drilldown." This will allow the page footer fields to appear. If you only want them to appear during drilldown, then format the page footer of the main report to suppress except for a certain drilldown level (section expert->page footer->suppress->x+2:

drilldowngrouplevel <> 4 //Not sure which number would be correct for you

Thanks Ian and LB!
I will try these options.
