Footer not on all pages

When I am creating a word document and putting a footer on it. It appears on some of the pages and not on other's has anyone encountered this before?

Is it displaying footer only on every other page?

yes, it will show the footer on 3 conceutive pages then not on the next one, the will show on the following but skip 2 more pages.

Hi benzgc,

This sounds as if you've got section breaks, for which the footers haven't been continued from the previous sections, or maybe they've been moved outside the printable area.

It could be section breaks, but it could also be an issue of odd/even header/footers.

Select File > Page Setup ? Layout. In the Headers and Footers section, are either Different first page, or Different Odd/Even check boxes checked?
