Hello...I received a MAC Quark file from a client that was sent with all the fonts (exported, I believe). However, when I open the Quark, I get a message telling me I am missing fonts. I checked the fonts the client sent and they are all 0kb in size.

Do I need to install the fonts? I don't really want to purchase fonts just for this one job. Am I doing something wrong? All the fonts i am "missing" are in the fonts folder the client sent.

Thanks, in advance!

They have to be installed in your computer's fonts folder.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

I tried doing that, but they are 0kb in size....am I doing something wrong? (sorry if this is a dumb question)

Thanks in advance!

...if the fonts are indicating 0kb then the font data needed does not exist, the client will need to re-supply, though if they are reluctant, get them to send a pdf with embedded fonts and at high resolution...
