font-style doesn't seem to work?

What would be causing font-style to not work?

I've tried italic & oblique nothing changes?

doing a little googling I found this...

So it seems to be a well know issue where MS has cocked up the fonts somehow, only trying the 'font' section under internet options hasn't solved the problem but made it worse as I now seem to be typing in this box with "Lucida Console"

Does anyone know where the 'reset' button is?

Yup, your entire page is italicized.

Seems your PC may have somehow lost some of the regular non-italicized fonts.
Have you tried the other fix of copying over the missing font files if any are missing?
