I am needing to creat a font strike through combo box. The client would like it to act like the combo in Access.
I have it working for the first letter type and it searches the list and retieves the first value that matches this letter. Now I need it to work on any string that is typed in the combo and either come up blank or with value.
thanks

mc13 -- i'm confused now -- are you looking for a combobox with a better search (not just first letters) or do you want to use strike-thru fonts....?
Mike
michael.j.lacey@ntlworld.com
<a href= Cargill's Corporate Web Site
Sorry for the confusion! What I am looking for is a better search. Where it searches as you type if in the combobox.

Ok

There's a good control described in "Instant Visual Basic 5 ActiveX Control Creation" by (quite a list of people actually) isbn 1861000235 from Wrox Press

You can get the just the code for the control (all code in the book actually) from:

<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> on code - choose the above title from list

We use a slightly modified version of this control at work - it seems fine.

Mike
michael.j.lacey@ntlworld.com
<a href= Cargill's Corporate Web Site
