Font Problem When Printing INDDs to Lanier Printer

Seems that when we send certain INDDs to a particular Lanier Printer (the only one of many Laniers that have demonstrated this problem) it condenses / squishes the type in maybe one or two places on the printed page.

We have checked the formatting of the INDDs and found nothing that would indicate that the problem resides in the source file except that when you rekey the text sometimes the printer will no longer squish the text.

Any ideas?

Getting the absolute latest PPD for the printer is the first thing to do.

Also, there is an option in the print dialog box "download PPD fonts" -- make sure this is turned on.
