Followup question re: Outlook and Excel

I have a followup question regarding an archived thread.

When I try the code in the thread, I encounter the following error while compiling in VBA.

"Invalid outside procedure"

I am using Excel 2003 and when the error occurs, it sets the cursor at the SET OLAPP line.

Would someone help me explain what I am doing wrong?
 
well have you put the code inside a sub procedure ??
