FollowHyperlink limit?

Hi!

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the address length when using FollowHyperlink...for example:

ActiveDocument.FollowHyperlink Address:=xxxxxxxx

I am having problems passing long url's.

I'm not awae of any limit.

Can you give some more details please? What is the url you are having problems with? What exactly are the symptoms? Does it exist? Does it contain any odd characters? Does it work if added to the document body?

Well i tried to find the exact amount of characters and the error occurs if the url contains more than 1.033 characters.

for example the code below opens the browser, but if you add one more 'x', you get the following error message:
Run-time error '4198'

is there some way to get around this problem, or maybe an alternative to 'FollowHyperlink' that does not have this limitation?
