I am having an issue with one client that folders he has created are not being recreated in the archive. He has created a directory structure in which to store his emails. The majority of the structure seems to have been replicated in the archive, but not all of it. In addition, new folders created sometimes are duplicated in the archive, but at other times they are not. This is not to say that they disappear, only that they are not created in the first place. Those that are duplicated do stay. I have had no luck in duplicating this issue on my PC. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Has this been resolved? I now have a user with the same problem.

Yes, but it was an involved process and we are still not clear as to what caused the problem in the first place. Basically we ran a cleanup of the user's database on the server. Then, on the client, we uninstalled Lotus, making sure to back up the names.nsf,.id file, and any existing archives. After running Add/Remove programs, you then have to manually delete the leftover file structure. We reloaded Lotus, and replicated the users database to the local machine, and restored his backed up files. We then created a new archive, and set it to do automatic backups every 30 days. We have no further issues since. Unfortunately, this means that the user now has 2 archives to search, one current and one old.
