I'm sure NT used to remember folder settings e.g. LIST, DETAILS, SMALL ICONS etc in IE for each folder view. Now it doesn't seem to and I can't find anywhere this can be set like you can in XP. Is there something I can change in the registry for example? Bugging me, thanks.

I don't you're right. NT uses a single view for all folders.

I should have mentioned that I use the browser (IE6) and not Explorer to view the files.

I also don't think that matters. WinXP stores individual folder information in a hidden file called desktop.ini in each folder that has been customized. You won't see these on a WinNT system. But by all means prove me wrong by copying one of these files to your WinNT system and see if the folder conforms to it's settings.
