Folder roles??

Hi all

OK, I'm going back to basics here and assume the following:

<The cache folder on the APS holds the formatted pages for Page-on-demand viewing.
<The output folder holds the report instances.

What does the input folder do??
There is a reports subfolder in input with a shedload of reports in it. If I double-click on any report in there, I get the message &quot;report has no saved data&quot;
Any ideas?

Input holds your report templates. Double clicking tries to open them in Analyser but as they have no data you get this error.

1) Run designer and they do a file open and navigate to this directory to open the report templates.

2) You can save data in a template by selecting this when you save the report. Its on the menus.
