Hi Server Guru's,
Our network (Windows Server 2003) has roaming profiles but without folder redirection. It is my understanding that, for example, the My Documents folder sits on both the local machine and the server, and just gets sync'd at the logoff? correct?
Anyhow, we are experiencing these problems:
1. Long logons/logoffs.
2. Sync problem - if a user deletes an icon on their desktop, the next time they logon it is back (same happens with files).
Question:
1. Would Folder Redirection cure our problems?
2. Are files ever left on a workstation once folder redirection is implemented?
3. Pros and Cons of Folder Redirection?
Thanks in advance!
Brad
