Hello,

I am looking for a foldable keyboard for a laptop (not the rubberized waterproof ones) but a hard type of keyboard for a laptop, like the ones you see for the PDA's. I have looked high and low for something like this all over the web, and have not been able to come up with anything. Does anyone have any suggestions?

IBM / Lexmark used to make a split keyboard that could also fold as a byproduct of that design a number of years ago.

Try:

As you can see, big $$$. The Lexmark, if memory serves, was around $150 at a time when the Microsoft Ergonomic was around $50. At that price they didn't sell many and it ended up discontinued. The keyboards on that site link above are just as expensive - since PC keyboards are semi-intelligent devices with built-in decoding microprocessors when you split the circuit board into parts the price skyrockets.

Hope this helps Your mileage may vary...
