With One-X, I have not used FNE Service in a long time but currently have a customer needing to use the service. It is a new smaller install running 10.0.3 and Spectrum sip trunks with 8 channels. My issue is I can not get FNE31 to work correctly as DTMF is not recognized, however I can get FNE33 to work correctly. Is there something that would be blocking DTMF for FNE31 but not for FNE33?

Thanks

The difference is that with FNE 31 the user calls to the IP Office and then send DTMF and with FNE33 the IP Office accepts the call, disconnect and call the user back.

Did you try FNE 00 or 17 instead of FNE31?

Do you have VM Pro or AA on the system?
Can you make DTMF choices there, if not it an issue with the DTMF settings on the SIP trunk or the provider.

There is a mention of something like this in the V10.1 release doc.

the normal FNE code can interfere with DTMF because the IPO has to listen for special options (such as **) to enable call transfer etc.

V10.1 ha added an additional FNE code that disables this behaviour

Intrigrant, I knew nothing about FNE 00 or 17 and didn't see it in the knowledge base. Anymore info on it?

Janni78, unfortunately this small office is not running VM Pro.

IPGuru, I was not aware of this, I will have to re-read the 10.1 release document.

Thanks
