Hi all,

The weirdest thing is happening. My database is on a server, and we've used Instant Web publishing to put it online. It works great.

EXCEPT...one field is formatted as "checkboxes." On my local copy it's fine. On the web, it's all non-aligned and screwy. I cannot for the life of me find a way to just make the checkboxes all line up!

Anyone encounter this? Totally silly...

L.

I've just recently encountered the same problem, but haven't found a solution yet.

Not even in the FileMaker Technical section...

It appears that IWP ignores the fact that the radio buttons are supposed to be aligned left and vertical.

Guess we have to wait untill the new upgrade/date....

I had a similar problem with formatting checkboxes on a web-based database. What I found was that this was a known problem (at least in FMP 5.5), and there was nothing I could do about it. Basically, the browser ignores your formatting for checkbox fields. I got around it on the next database by making them all separate fields with a drop-down list containing X and a space. (or you can put radio buttons with yes or no).

Oy! Thank you so much for those posts. I thought I was losing my marbles.

Separate fields is too gnarly, and radio buttons is right out as we definitely collect multi-choice data in there. I guess we're stuck with non-alignment for now. OH well.

Thanks again!!!!
