I'm not at my system and I won't be for two weeks.

The intercom keys (3) allow 3 incoming calls per phone to receive SIMULTANEOUS FMFM treatment.
Each one can fork 5 FMFM calls, for a total of 15.

A BCM50 can only take 24 Virtual Terminal Seats overall.
A BCM450 can only take 64 Virtual Terminal Seats overall.

Somebody with at least 1 FMFM seat, please do this:

In Element Manager, count the number of EXPLICIT Virtual Terminal licenses you have.

Go into Call Pilot and under Configuration, System Properties, look for Maximum Find Me/Follow Me Sessions.

On a BCM50
Set it to 15 if you have 1 FMFM seat assigned to a mailbox
Set it to 24 if you have 2 or more FMFM seats and each is assigned to a different mailbox

On a BCM450
Set it to 15 if you have 1 FMFM seat assigned to 1 mailbox
Set it to 30 if you have 2 FMFM seats assigned to 2 mailboxes
Set it to 45 if you have 3 FMFM seats assigned to 3 mailboxes
Set it to 60 if you have 4 FMFM seats assigned to 4 mailboxes
Set it to 64 if you have 5 or more FMFM seats assigned to 5 or more mailboxes

Under the applicable Class of Service(s) ... change the Max Find Me Follow Me Calls Per Seat to 3.

Now, go under Applications, LAN/CTE in Element Manager and see how many Virtual DNs were created with a FMFM application label.

Can somebody do this and let me know the outcome relative to the number of Virtual Terminal seats you have, if any?

Thanks!!

What ever you set Maximum Find Me/Follow Me Sessions to it will create the same amount of Virtual Terminal DN's.

What exactly is the issue you are having?

Avaya said those were the max. So you have 0 Virtual Terminal licenses, and it will create them?

I have 256 LAN/CTE Virtual Terminal codes and 32 FMFM seats.
I dumbed them down to 1 LAN/CTE Virtual Terminal and 1 FMFM seat
If I allow 1 Max Sessions in Callpilot then I will see 1 Virtual Terminals.
I tell Callpilot I want 24 Max sessions then the BCM will unlock 24.

I presume the one LAN/CTE Virtual Terminal key code will be activated (show in the list) when another Application calls for it.

I dont see how purchasing/adding a LAN/CTE Virtual Terminal key ocde will do FMFM any use since they appear to be built into the BCM.

So you're saying that I can have 0 Virtual Terminal seats and 4 FMFM seats and it will create Virtual Terminal DNs even though the virtual terminal seats were not purchased separately. Is that correct?

So my question then would be why the heck would your system have 256 in your .lic file?

The question is simple. Does a FMFM seat require a separately purchased Virtual Terminal Seats.
