Hi,
I have a database that has several text fields, which I'd like to auto-populate by using a customer number (manually entered) to look up the relevant fields in an Oracle DB. I got to the point of getting a query to import the data, but I don't see a way to say "where external.customer_nbr=internal.customer_nbr". Am I missing something? If this isn't possible in FM6, anybody know if it's possible in 7?

Hi,

You have to declare a field where you store your SQL statement, This statement you'll have to build dynamically via scripts or calculated fields.

When you import don't write the statement in the import dialogbox, choose the variable/field containing your sql statement.
