FM 5.5: Cannot find shared Databases on the network

Hi everybody,

I'v got Filemaker 5.5 on a OS X 10.3 Server and I'm sharing a Database.
I did it just the way the manual says (WebCompanion on, Network Companion on, File Share (Multi User), File open on host), but I cannot see any host on a client machine when trying "Open remote". Even on the Server itself there's the same problem.
does anyone of you know what I should do?

Did you go into the Admin Tool and open the file? You don't mention that on your check list. If you did, then when you open the admin tool, you should see it listed as well as when you go to open remote.

Hi Michael,

I didn't see an Admin Tool anywhere in this version of Filemaker. And I also didn't read anything about it in the manual....
