I can boot from a DOS boot disk OK, so it's not the drive itself at fault, but in NT wkstn 4.0 (SP4) the a:\ drive is present but cannot read any floppies - error message is "please make sure all required file system drivers are loaded".

Floppy service set to 'boot' and is started OK - no errors in event log.

Any ideas?

Update to the latest service pack.

You could also try downloading some drivers from the manufacturers site but I doubt you'll get any (floppy drives tend to use generic drivers).

Regards

Your NT might be on an NTFS partition and the floppy might be FAT32, In NT u cannot access a FAT32 file system if ur using NTFS.

PLs chack that.
