Hi

I'm using the very useful VFPCompression.fll to zip and unzip stuff in my apps.

It's gone very well until today.

One machine is throwing an error when I do the 'set library to' command - saying the library isn't valid.

I've tried deleting and copying a new .fll from another machine (where it works) but no luck.

Is this a security thing?

Anyone else had a probelm like this?

TIA

Martin

AFAIK
Check to see if you have the last version of the library.
If I remember well Craig introduces it about mid of October.
Also check msvcr71.dll on both computers to see if they are the same versions.

That sounds constructive:

"Also check msvcr71.dll on both computers to see if they are the same versions. "

Thank you Borislav

(the version of the .fll is not so important since I copied one that was ok)

The MSVCR71.dll is the key - copied it to a remote machine today and 'bingo' it started working.

I'll figure a way of including in app from now on.

Many thanks
