Flip buttons make duplicates

Hi,

I can't find reason for the following:

using flip vertically or flip horizontally button on the property bar leaves object original as duplicate!
I have to delete it after, therefore I usually use Ctrl key to flip objects manually.

I think you have the 'apply to duplicate' button selected. This is on you top bar, look for the icon and de-select.

Thanks a lot for Your help. I had no such button on the property bar, but following Your suggestion I decided to add the button icon using <customize> menu and now it`s much more easy to control the option.

I lose track of what is there by default and what I've added, sorry I thought that was there by default, glad your sorted though.
