Does anyone know if it is possible (and if so how) to set up a flexible button on a PT (eg KX-DT333) which will show a light if any one extension in a group is in use?

I know I can set individual extensions to individual buttons, but I don't need to know which extension and I don't actually have enough buttons to monitor ALL extensions. I just want to know if ANY extension in a group is on a call before I do something to the system (eg power it down).

Or is there another way to monitor ALL extensions at once?

Thanks

what system is it on,if it is a tda,tde or ncp you can see if any cards are in use. no group button that will light for one extension in use in group exceptdss key

Hi obtsystems,

It is the KX-TDE100. How do I see if a card is in use? Is that only by looking at the lights on the box itself or can i tell that from the PT or PC Unified Maintenance Console?

Thanks

Looking at the box green light flashing.
If you had all the lines on buttons you can see if anyone is on outside calls

Thanks obtsystems

We have more lines than buttons and I was hoping to find something that didn't require looking at the box itself.

Thanks for your ideas.
