I'm using Flexibility 7.6.3c in a Microsoft SQL Server environment. I just started using Flexibility and my VB experience has been mostly objects (button, database) with some coding to get the object to do what I want. My problem here is that I have a checkbox in Customer Maintenance screen that I want to access everytime an order is started with that customer. For example, if the checkbox value for a particular customer is true, then when the order for that customer is started a dialog box will pop up with a warning about that customer. I can get it to pop up when in the customer screen but I can't get it to come up automatically on the Order Entry screen.

Thank you for any and all help.

Dave

I guess a fair question would be what does the check box in the CM screen indicate?

Assuming that the Check box is based on a field in Macola, you could do a quick call to the DB on the Lost Focus event of CusNo, determine the value of the field the checkbox is based on and then display your message.

HTH,
Jake
