Flash2.0 message notification on MICS with PRI

I am having trouble getting flash to message notify external numbers. The customer uses 8 to access PRI for calls. V/m exts have access to PRI. Mailbox is programmed to use pool 1 in m/b setup and out dial setup. M/b also has "allow redirect" set to yes.
I tried to access a single line through an ATA but that will not connect either. It does capture the line, but never will connect.

Are you using Routes when trying to call out from the vmail?

Pool 1 = pool A in the MICS. PRI channels are assigned to pri-a, pri-b etc.

Try using pool 2 or pool 3 (a pool with no lines assigned) and use the destination code 8 preceding your dialout number. Let us know if that works.

You may need V2.1 on the Flash to make this work.

ptstechnician is correct. You need to set up voice mail to call on route setting.

I had this problem a while back. if you set the pool to 15 the VM attempts to use that pool, fails, and then hits the routing table. you my need to program the first number as a 8 in the dial string.

I don't see a place to assign using a route on this version. I only have line or pool options. Will try the other suggestions about assigning a different number pool number.

yes you are correct. assign the pool to 16 and let it try and fail to find the pool then it will go to the route.
