I have a Flash voicemail that stopped working after a short power fail on the weekend. I usually have revived these in the past but this one I can't get back up. The phone system is MICS rel.1 T1 software. the voice mail is ver 1.9 or 2.0 can't quite remember. Anyhow after arriving onsite 1st, I unplugged the Flash VM for a minute and plugged it back in, light came on, waited 5 min. and tried the feat. 981 and got innactive feature. 2nd I tried feat. 9*1 to ID feat. code range and got inactive feature. 3rd I tried feat. 903 to reset the feat. code range and got inactive feature. 4th I tried power down again removed the sw card and reseated it power back up. wait 5 min. and got same response after dialing feature codes. I did check the port with a M7310 and the port works. We also left the unit unplugged overnight and power back up this morning waited 10-15 min.with same result. The last thing I am going to do today is take the VM apart and short the capacitors on the board to erase all memory and try to reinstall. When these systems fail cause of power problems is it the software card that gets corrupt or the actual main unit? I realize the system will likly need to be replaced. Thanks in advance for any input. Dave
