Flash talk to Flash between frames?

I know its gotta be in here, perhaps I'm not wording the search right. Could someone point me in the right direction? I was thinking today, and I'd rather mix HTML and flash because an all-flash site is always kind of bulky. And for an informational site, all-flash is excessive. Especially when no animations are involved.

I need flash to be able to target another frame, and also, be able to tell another movie what to do within another frame...(frames/html pages)

I have 2 frames

Main
Sub

I have a flash movie in Main and I have a flash movie in sub.

How can I get them to send commands, etc back and forth?

In MX, you can use this:
