hi there i have a embedded flash movie created with mx 2004

It runs localy from a cd

the proiblem i have is if i add the file to the allowed list in the flash player configuration manager it runs fine but if I dot add it it does not work properly as it passes variables from javascript in html to flash

as this is on a cd obiously i cannot expect every user to go through this process.

is there anyway of bypassing this or adding the security settings using action script or some other way so the cd will run on any computer without having to change sedcurity manualy

hope soomone can help

lee

hello,

i have the same problem. have you find the solution ?

guib

ok,

the solution is in :

Documents and Settings\"UserName"\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys

in this folder you have the file settings.sol where flash security parameters ar saved

personaly i have put it on Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys

like this, flash security settings are the same for all acount

bye
