I have a graphic at:

As you will see, for some reason when each text box is almost done, it almost snaps or pops, as if there is a sudden change of color. Can anyone offer any advice as to what I can do to fix it?

Thank you in advance!

Are these alpha motion tweens, or actionscripted alpha fades? Can you post a link to your .fla, zipped up and in MX only format?

Just checked your link again, and it didn't seem to do it anymore?
Nor does the .swf or the .fla in your package.
Did change all tween alpha settings to 1% and 99% rather than 0% and 100% (which is better!), including the ending seperate keyframe on all button clips, but itworks fine as it did.
Did you change anything meanwhile?

No, I didn't change anything, but to me it is not working correctly. When I view it, there is a sudden change as each text box fades in, a sudden sort of pop, instead of a smoothness.

And on what plaform, OS, and browser are you testing this with?

If I view the .swf file, where you have above, yes, it's the same. A little out of proportion, but still, that weird effect is still there. I am using Windows XP, IE 6.0.

Thanks for your help.

Perfect! How did you do it? Do tell!!

Thanks so much.

All I did was change all the alpha keyframes settings to 1% & 99% rather than 0% and 100% on all your tweens. Also added a stop action on the last frame rather than rely on seetting the loop parameter to false in the html. Also didn't use your html, don't like the way the movie is embedded in the div tag... That possibly could have something to do with it all...
But I'd try the alpha keyframes settings first, and the stop(); action at the end.

There is another problem, and that is there appears to be some stray marks next to the text. I really don't know why it's doing it, the elements are sized exactly the same as the imported image, though it looks as though something is distorted. You can see it also in your link at:

You can notice it in the upper left hand box, the last word, "FIRM", after the letter "M"- stray marks. Same for the lower left hand box, the word "BUILT"- has a strange mark after the letter "B".

Any ideas?

Well I wouldn't of used bitmaps but dynamic textfields with a pixel font, but you can try the following to solve the problem...

Select both textfields (in turn) and open up the Transform panel (under Window). Scale the bitmaps to 100.2% across rather than 100%. Next make sure the x & y values in the bitmaps' properties lie on exact pixel value coordinates, i.e. -174.0 & -104.0 and not something like -174.6 & -104.2

Finally make sure you do the exact same as above on the bitmaps in your 1B and 4B buttons.

This is what I've done!

Notice that I also remove the space in your file's name... "WA2"... You should never use spaces in file names. Use an underscore if you must, otherwise that will get you in serious troble with some browsers...
