hey, anyone
I'm using flash 4 and trying to throw first flash site on the web but when I go to look at it it's just a blank white screen? I used Dreamweaver , I don't know if that makes a difference? I've waited for it to load but it doesn't, does anyone know what the heck is going on? I made a preloader for it too but it didn't work.
any advice would be appreciated!

What's your url? Post it... If you want us to check it out!
Are you sure you've uploaded the swf?
Just uploading the html, doesn't do the trick!

If you've used multiple frames in your Dreamweaver page, make sure that they're ALL uploaded. davdesign@hotmail.com

The problem I had was with my FTP software. I had to make sure that, when I uploaded my .swf files to the Net, the FTP software was set up upload in Binary. If anything else, (like ASCII) my .swf file would not run when I tried to access it.

It puzzled me for the longest time, becuase when I would view the file on my hard drive, everything worked fine.

This may not be the problem in your case, but it may be something to check.
