Flash Player version issue?

Been having issues with the Flash Player (latest version is installed), works okat with Firefox, IE keeps telling me to download - and I've just installed some SW that won't start because it tell me I need the latest version - which I know I have....

Anyone know a fix for this? Thanks.

The first thing to do is uninstall the player:

Thanks. Been through all the motions, uninstalled, re-installed. Finally got it working, of a fashion. Works locally and in Firefox but not IE.

Does your IE work from a server? IE has weird local security policy...

No. It's all local.... IE demands a download every time.

It's just making me more and more proFF!

IE is gone for personal use.... But still have to check stuff out on it. And yes, it is a swf object...
