There are some websites I try to visit, using Windows XP SP2 with every Windows update & IE 6 SP1, that tell me to install Flash Player to view them and I have installed the newest player, version 7, and I still can't see the sites. I have tried using the FAQ's on Macromedia's website but nothing they suggests seems to help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I know Flash is working because some sites work???? How is it that some sites work fine and others don't?

Hi, temporary disable your windows firewall, go to macromedia.com:

Try to install from there (don't forget to re-enable your firewall).

If this still doesn't work, repost here and we'll work this out more aggressively.

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue

It shows that it installed successfully but I still can't get to There is a flash creen that continues to ask me to install flash player.

You are right. IE is at SP2. So in summary I have XP SP2 and IE SP2. Windows firewall is off and I haveno other firewall software installed on either machine. I have this same problem on my work machine and Home machine. At work I have XP Pro and at home I have XP Home.

Hi, is firefox or netscape installed on your computers?

If so, open this link with internet explorer:

When prompted, click install. I've experienced this trying to figure out your problem when multiple browsers are installed.

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue
